How we handle your data, your enquiry and your cargo
Three short statements: what this website does with your data, what the figures on it are worth, and the standard we hold ourselves to when we act for you.
01 — Privacy
This site collects nothing about you
There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no cookie on this website. We do not know who visits it.
- The only thing stored in your browser is your language choice, kept locally so the site opens in the same language next time. It never leaves your device and can be cleared with your browsing data.
- Fonts, scripts and images are served from this site itself. No content delivery network sees your visit.
- The market band fetches live exchange rates from two public services — frankfurter.dev (European Central Bank data) and open.er-api.com. Those requests carry your IP address, as any web request does. Nothing else is sent, and no identifier of you is included.
- The enquiry form does not transmit anything to us. It opens your own email programme with the message filled in — you decide whether to press send.
- When you do write to us, we keep your message and contact details for as long as the enquiry and any resulting contract require, and we do not sell or share them.
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address at the bottom of this page and we will answer.
02 — Website terms
What the figures here are, and are not
Everything on this site is descriptive. Nothing on it is an offer, a quotation, or advice you should act on without asking us.
- The exchange rates are European Central Bank daily reference rates. They are reference figures, not dealing rates, and they are not the rate we will invoice at.
- The crude figure is a Brent benchmark price, shown with the date it is as at.
- The bunker grades — EN 590, MGO, VLSFO, HSFO — are our own indicative levels, carried forward from crude with our differential. They are not port assessments and not a stem price. Ask us for a firm price against a specific port, date and quantity.
- Aircraft, engine and APU types listed are types we support. Availability, condition and traceability are confirmed per item, in writing, before any order.
- Vessel and network coverage describes capability, not a guarantee that a particular vessel or agent is available on a given date.
A contract with us comes into being through a signed order, fixture or charter party — never through this website. Where anything here conflicts with a signed document, the signed document governs.
03 — Business conduct
The standard we hold ourselves to
Both of our operating businesses turn on documents being true. We treat that as the whole job, not as paperwork attached to it.
- Traceability. We state the source of a component and the limits of its documentation before an order, not after. Where full trace is unavailable, we say so in writing.
- Airworthiness. Release documents, certificates of conformity, shop reports and back-to-birth records are issued with the item. We do not represent condition we have not verified.
- Sanctions and export control. We screen counterparties, end users and destinations, and we decline business that we cannot complete lawfully — including where a licence would be required and is not held.
- Dangerous goods. Declared, packed and documented to the applicable code. Undeclared dangerous goods are grounds for us to stop a shipment.
- Anti-bribery. We do not offer or accept improper payments to obtain business, clearances or berths. If a payment is being demanded of you in a port we agent, tell us.
- Civil scope only. We work on commercial and industrial projects. We do not supply military or defence end users.
- Human review of automation. Our internal systems draft; a named person approves. No quotation, fixture or airworthiness statement is issued without that approval, and client data is not used to train third-party models.
